Cold Reading

Q. I’m lucky…I have several career options and ideas. There are several different ways I can take my life and my career. I’ve tried to do as much as I can on my own to get a feeling for which direction is best, but I’m having a hard time seeing it for myself. Can you help me get a feel for the right path?
A. I see the colors green and gold. If you are worried about wealth, these colors may be a reassurance to you that money worries will be ok, that you will make a prosperous choice. I now see a red and gold, the shades you might see in Christmas decorations. That may be a clue of the time of year when things become more clear to you or it may be associated with the Chinese tradition of red and gold being lucky or auspicious colors. Do you have an interest in anything Chinese? Now I see a gold oriental dragon on a red background. I also see a Buddha statue, seated, hands together.
I see an exercise room, and equipment. There is a feeling of getting exercise, and eating well to be strong to do all you need to do. There is a feeling of family…. a reminder that it is ok to put family first, no matter what other pressures you may feel. If you are already doing this, then this may be an acknowledgement, or a thank you for doing that. I see a male, husband figure, and a beautiful teen girl with long curly hair. They will support you.
I get the scent of sandalwood. Indulge in that scent in incense, room fragrance or perfume…it might help bring the glimpse or insight you need.
I see a paper, award, certificate of some kind at the top of a pyramid of other symbols…incense sticks, books, and something else to the right that isn’t quite clear….paint brushes?
Now I see stars and get the word “spirituality”, and “spirals” and “continue” and “persist”
Now I see a purple mountain with snow on top…a single clear mountain, like Mount Fuji or kilamenjaro…this one reminds me more of pictures I’ve seen of Mount Fuji.
I ‘hear’ (meaning the impressions come as words instead of images) “hold to your own visions. trust your own imaginations, we are by your side” Now I see angels wings, and old artwork sort of angels like Raphael’s cherubs. There is a sense of the idea of spirit guides. There is an image of a shaman, or medicine man placing his hands on your head in some sort of initiation or convocation. “find your path amung us, all will be well”. There is a flash of a turtle, a crow, a wolf…line drawings, almost like a cave painting. Turtle again which has motherhood and family associations.
“Return to this and more will be revealed”… I would take that to mean continue meditation or contemplation on your own too. Trust your imagination and mental images…they are not accidental or random, they are just as meaningful as you might think.
With that, the energies withdraw.
