How to get the most from a reading
HERE ARE A FEW SIMPLE HINTS THAT WILL HELP YOU GET THE MOST FROM ANY KIND OF INTUITIVE SESSION, WITH ANY PSYCHIC OR TAROT READER.
- BRING AN OPEN MIND: Psychic information comes from outside of normal space and time…whether you believe it to be spiritual in nature, or just a way of accessing our own right-brain function…however you think of it, intuition follows its own rules. Psychic information has a way of prioritizing itself into what we most NEED to hear…not necessarily what we most WANT to hear. If you just roll with this process, and approach the information with an open mind (or as famous medium John Edward says “check your expectations at the door”) then you will have a deeper, richer reading experience in the long run.
- BRING YOUR LOGIC: Sometimes our emotions get the better of us. Don’t let your wants and emotions put you at risk. Don’t give out sensitive information like social security numbers or credit card numbers to strangers. That is why I use Paypal as a payment utility…your information goes into YOUR account with THEM…so you are always secure and safe when paying for your readings with me.
- BRING YOUR OWN INTUITION: Psychic information is very personal, just like the images of a dream. If you think you know the meaning of a certain symbol or phrase…then go with that! Psychics will try to interpret and help you with the information that comes through as much as possible, but ultimately it is up to you to understand (and learn from) the symbols, images, phrases and concepts that are given to you in your reading. Not all readings are a wealth of inspiration. Sometimes there is a mis-match between reader and sitter. If you feel that the reading is “off” or that the psychic isn’t trustworthy, then by all means follow your instincts and try your reading again another day or with another psychic.
- BRING YOUR QUESTIONS: If you have a particular concern or have questions as we go along in a reading, please bring them up. The reading may not answer your specific concern to allow more urgent messages through, but there is no harm in bringing them up at the beginning to set the tone and focus of the session. If something isn’t clear, let me know at the time so we can make the reading as clear and understandable as possible.
- BRING PENCIL AND PAPER: Or a tape recorder. I write notes for all of my private clients, and all e-mail readings are detailed written reports. For phone, party and private sessions you are welcome to take your own notes or bring a recorder of some kind. That way you can go back to the reading, and get details you might miss the first time through. Sometimes it takes time for the subtle meanings in a reading to unfold, and show themselves to you. Re-visiting your reading multiple times in written or recorded form helps you catch these new understandings, adding depth and value to your reading.
- BRING YOUR STREET SMARTS: Psychic work for years to develop their skills, and deserve fair pay for what they do. Readings reduce stress, build insight, inspire you and offer spiritual guidance…just as any priest or minister might offer. But sadly, not all psychics are in business to help and serve. Many are out to make money as quickly and easily as possible. If a reading makes you uncomfortable for ANY reason, then find someone else to do the reading. Beware of hidden connection fees, high per-minute rates, and “free minutes” that are designed to keep you on the line until “pay time” kicks in. Also be wary of outlandish promises. No one is 100% “accurate”! Look for a trustworthy and ethical psychic who is a good personality match for you as an individual.
