Q&A: Lightning Round

It’s been a busy day, and I’m grateful.

I’ve been in a religious minority my entire adult life. I’ve often lived where I am a political minority too. When you look in terms of energy,  the past week has been cause for real concern.  I was legitimately worried that  “We Need to Talk” might sabotage my Tarot work because of the dark energies blanketing the nation right now. I’m very happy and grateful that 99% of you took the post as the promise of welcoming and inclusion that it was intended to be.

It was a relief to get some phone calls today. The flurry of routine questions was both tremendously reassuring and the inspiration for today’s Q&A lightning round.

Q: Do you give free readings?

A: No.

I’ve given nearly 2,000 unpaid hours to writing the daily meditations, example readings, information pages, Q&A and all of the other posts here on the website. You are welcome to use the search bar on the right hand side of the page and browse all of the pages & archives at no cost to you.

Q: Do you do this full time?

A: Not yet.

My family is my absolute first priority. In-person & phone readings have limited availability and advance appointment is required. E-mail readings are almost full time, so they are available 24/7 no appointment needed.

Q: How long have you been doing this?

A: Since 1992.

I started with the Medicine Cards oracle deck and switched to Tarot soon after. I worked online under the nickname “Baihu” before doing professional readings here in Pittsburgh starting in 2003.

Q: Can you tell what _____________thinks of me?

A: No.

Tarot can’t read minds. Even if it could, I would never do that out of respect for the other person’s privacy and personal dignity.

Q: If you don’t read minds, how can you even do a reading at all?

A: I don’t read your mind either. A reading looks at the energy environment around you, not what you are thinking. Looking at energy through intuition, we can get ideas and advice to help you move along your life path in a positive way.

Q: Why do other psychics make predictions and tell what other people feel?

A: I don’t know.

I can’t speak for other psychics. I can only tell you how I work and what I do. It is up to you to decide if my readings are a good match for what you want or not.

Q: I want to learn to be a psychic and a medium. Where can I get lessons locally?

A: I give lessons in intuition development that you can apply  to any kind of intuitive work (mediumship, cards, palms, etc.) I teach you to apply the intuition development part through teaching you how to read playing cards and Tarot for yourself. What I teach does not certify you to do readings for other people in any way. If you want to learn how to work as a professional, you can move on to more advanced studies, like Lily Dale in NY for example. As far as I know, the intuition development lessons & small group workshop that I created are unique within the Pittsburgh / South Hills area.

**************

I am more than willing to work with any one of any race, any religion, any sexual preference, gender identity or political affiliation. I want my Tarot work to reflect a joyful celebration of diversity and inclusion. As I see it, Tarot is about humanity, not ideology. In order to do my best work in the current energy environment, I need you to know that I’m not in any way part of the right-wing zeitgeist that has gripped the U.S. since the election.
